German postcard: English prisoners-of-war at work

Over 170,000 British soldiers were taken prisoner by the Germans during the Great War. Forced labour was not unusual for common soldiers who were taken POW. The work on the picture does not seem to be very hard. One of the POW's is keeping one hand in his pocket.
